Mrs. Willa Dean Ottinger

Mrs. Willa Dean Bryant Ottinger, age 85, of Newport, passed away Monday morning, January 9, 2023 at Newport Health and Rehabilitation. She was preceded in death by her husband Darrell Ottinger; daughter Carolyn Sue Webb; son Johnny C. McGaha, grandson Joshua Parks and parents Roy J. Bryant and Belva Clark Bryant. Survivors include her sons Charles McGaha, Jimmy (Sue) McGaha, James (Janie) Webb and Russell (Sharon) Ottinger and a sister Marilyn (Ruble) Ramsey. Additional survivors include numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, January 16, 2023 in the Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Fred Cagle officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday morning, January 17, 2023 at Union Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home Prior to the service.
