I am so sorry for your loss. I was unaware of his sickness. Wished I'd talked to him more. To Reminisce of our early childhood. May PEACE and rest be with you Bobby. Take some pictures of God for me please. I would like to share those! Sadness never heals, just gets muffled inward. My siblings know this. May Peace be with you Mary Jane and Minnick family.
Thank you Mark!
Mary Jane,
I shall always remember Bobby's nice, slow Tennessee drawl and his easy-going ways. I feel fortunate that I got to know him....even though it was only one week a year during family vacation in Sarasota. My prayers are with you and the rest of the Minnick family during this hard time. We will all miss him,
Alice Inman
Thank you Alice.
Bobby was kind and the proudest of veterans. The world was better with him in it. Pam and I pray for peace and comfort for Mary Jane, his family and loved ones
Bobby was one of my best friends during our early childhood years. There are so many stories of our kid adventures that it’s hard to pick just one, but he reminded me in a Messenger post earlier this year about a real adventure my big brother Chris took us on; I think it was sometime around 1962. Chris took us to Pigeon Forge and we went to a dolphin show! I think it was semi-outdoors with two large water tanks, one for the show, the other for training? I remember we sat on bleachers and watched the show. Then at the end of the show they asked if anyone wanted to swim with dolphins and before we knew it, my brother had volunteered us! We stripped down to our blue jeans and they put us into the training tank, one dolphin for each of us. They had us hold on to the dorsal fin (I’m not sure if they asked if we could swim or not) and just before they gave the signal to the dolphins to dive, they asked us if we knew what dolphins did with their snouts. We said “No.” and they said “They kill sharks with them!” The trainer gave the signal and the dolphins pulled us 15’ under and once around the tank! And that’s the story of how two Newport boys who had never seen the ocean, swam with dolphins in the middle of the Smoky Mountains!
Sorry old friend that I lost touch with you and never got a chance to “Party at the Farm”, but at our next adventure together it will be Jesus taking us and I’m sure it will be just as fun as swimming with dolphins!
Watch the skies!

So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Have many memories of Bobby from the SMCC when we were younger. What great times we all had. Always loved seeing all of Bobby photographs and what a great eye he had for capturing them. May he Rest In Peace.
Bobby will be missed by all who knew him. Prayers to the family.
