Ms. Margaret Ann Williams, age 66, of Newport, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 23, 2023 at home. She was preceded in death by her parents Bruce and Glennie Williams; grandparents Harrison and Ida Williams and Wilburn and Debbie Brown. Survivors include her sister and caregiver Ida Poe; brothers Toby (Barbara) Williams and Chan (Thelma) Williams all of Newport; nephews Derek Poe (April) of Morristown; Dwayne (Debbie) Williams of Newport; Niece Kendra (David) Shropshire of Dandridge; great- nephew Lucas Williams of Morristown and a very special expected great-nephew Liam Poe. Additional survivors include several cousins and dear friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Smoky Mountain Hospice for their care and compassion for our sister. The family will host a Celebration of life Service for family and friends to attend. The service details will be announce at a later date. Cremation Arrangements entrusted to Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home.
