Mr. Joseph M. Bible, age 91, born October 16, 1931, passed away March 14, 2023 at home with family.Joseph (J.M. or Joe) grew up in Del Rio, TN. After school he joined the Air Force. Joseph then went to night school and got his license to survey. He surveyed all over East Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and many other states before having his own business in Newport, TN until he retired in 2011.He was preceded in death by his parents, Tillman Bible and Celestian Cogill Bible, brothers, Hershel Bible and Oris Bible , sister, Lois Bible Finchum, wife, Faye Bible and step son, Reid Hamm, Jr.He is survived by his son, David T. Bible, daughter, Beverly Bible, step daughter, Lanita Hamm and step son, Wade Hamm, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at Clark Cemetery- Deep Gap Saturday, March 18, 2023.Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 11:45am for 12:00pm interment.
