Mr. Jackson Carl "J C" Thomas

Obituary Mr. J C Thomas, age 86, of Newport, passed away Sunday evening, August 7, 2022 at Newport Convalescent Center.He was of the Baptist Faith.  He was a United States Army Veteran.He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene Amende Thomas and wife Elizabeth Cutshaw. son James Thomas, parents Frank and Susie Thomas, brothers Marvin Thomas and Harold Thomas and sister Juanita Thomas.Survivors include his children Frank Thomas of Knoxville, Herb Thomas and Debra Thomas Holt both of Newport, grandchildren Ashley Thomas of Newport and Taylor (Kiki) Thomas of North Carolina.  Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews, his caregiver and special friend Patricia Ann Sisk and her granddaughter Catalina Sisk both of Newport. Other friends include Wanda Raines of Newport and his neighbors at Master Circle.Per his request, Mr. Thomas will be cremated.  Plans for a Memorial Service to be hosted by the family will be announced at a later date.
