Mrs. Gloria Jean Green

Mrs. Gloria Jean Campbell Green, age 69, of Chestnut Hill, passed away Sunday morning, October 16, 2022 at Newport Medical Center. She was a devoted wife, mother and loving grandmother. She loved nature and animals. Her favorites were Humming Birds and Cardinals. She was preceded in death by her grandson Rohan Green; mother Elsie Campbell; father William Campbell and brother Robert Dale Campbell. Survivors include her husband Ira Green of the home; sons John David (Katie) Green of Michigan, Ira Green Jr, (Neelanjan Sen) of Wisconsin; daughter Diane Spence of Chestnut Hill; grandchildren Alex, Willie, Aidan, John and Maria, sisters Barbara Banks, Debbie Keaton and Brenda Dembronski all of Dandridge. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including her best friend Tammy Banks of Newport. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, October 19, 2022 at Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Ball officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Resthaven Memorial Gardens for the 1:00 p.m. interment.
