Mr. Frank Ferguson, age 88, of Parrottsville, passed away Monday afternoon, November 14, 2022 at Newport Medical Center. He loved his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Ferguson. Survivors include his children Joel (Lael) Ferguson of CA, Matthew (Lori) Ferguson of Bybee, TN, and Mickey (Cheryl) Ferguson of SC; grandchildren Jeffrey Ferguson, Timothy Ferguson, Amy Ferguson, Jacob Ferguson, Rachel Ferguson, Katie Ferguson and Cheyenne Ferguson; great-grandchildren Daniel Ferguson, Cameron Ferguson and Loretta Mitchell. Additional survivors include nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at East Maryville Baptist Church Cemetery with Matthew Ferguson speaking. The family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Friday at the cemetery prior to the graveside service. My husband and I got the honor to eat with Mr. Ferguson at Cracker Barrel one night. He was there alone so we asked if we could join him. What a kind soul. His obituary is 100% correct. We were strangers at the beginning of our meal but by the end, one thing was truly evident, he surely loved his family. We are very sorry for your loss.
