Mrs. Flora Edna Morefield Monday, age 81, of Newport, passed away Tuesday Afternoon, November 1, 2022 at her home. She was preceded in death by her daughter Alice Lane; daughter-in-law Patricia Lane; parents Oatis and Flora Adaline Morefield; one brother and four sisters. Survivors include her husband John Ronnie Monday of the home; daughters Sally Lane of Newport and Wendy (Pete) Iosa of Charleston, SC; son Jackie Lane of Rome, GA. Additional survivors include several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and one brother. Per her request, she will be cremated. The family will host a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. Cremation Arrangements entrusted to Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home.Read Obituary
