Mrs. Brenda Valarie (Cutshaw) Wilson

Obituary Mrs. Brenda Valarie Cutshaw Wilson, age 72, of Newport, passed away Sunday afternoon, August 28, 2022 at Newport Medical Center.She attended Living Waters Worship Center and Antioch Baptist Church.  She enjoyed being outdoors, planting flowers and yardsales .  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. William Leroy Cutshaw and Mary Ruth Griffin Cutshaw; brothers Claude (Berniece) Cutshaw, Ray (Tess) Cutshaw, Harold Cutshaw, Gene (Betty) Cutshaw and Jack (Reva) Cutshaw; sisters Helen (Dale) Dennis and Betty Cutshaw; niece Debbie Large and son of the heart Hollis Lewis.Survivors include her children Jimmy “Pebo” (Shelly) Wilson, Scottie (Heather) Wilson, Joshua (Erin) Wilson, Desiree “Dezi” Bowker, and daughter of her heart Sherry Nichols; grandchildren Jake Wilson, Casey Wilson (Casey Reno), Hunter Wilson, Monica Wilson, Katie (Phillip) Ruggles, Joshua (Tori) Wilson, Haley (Matthew) Scott and Michele Nichols; great-grandchildren Ellie, Paxton, Isabella and Aleana.  Additional survivors include the father of her children Jimmy (Peggy) Wilson; several grandchildren of the heart; nieces and nephews including special nephew Tommy (Vesta) Cutshaw; cousins and friends.A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 7:00pm at Dutch Bottoms Missionary Baptist Church officiated by Bro.
