Obituary Mrs. Betty A. LaPatka, age 92, of Parrottsville, passed away Sunday morning, September 18, 2022 at her home.She was preceded in death by her first husband Gene Thompson, Sr.; son Jimmy Alan Thompson; parents Eligah Bell and Nellie A. Bell; six brothers and four sisters;Survivors include her husband Larry LaPatka of the home; children Donna Thompson (Christine Owens) and Gene (Dale) Thompson, Jr.; grandchildren Tanya (Kinkaid) McManus, Gene (Amy) Thompson III, Shawn (Jill) Thompson, Jimmy Thompson Jr., Heather (Cherzan) Thompson, Justin Thompson and Alexandrea Thompson; great-grandchildren Carson McManus, Parker McManus, Kaleb Thompson, Riley Thompson, Drake Thompson, Kinleigh Thompson, Kingston Thompson and Korynne Thompson.  Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Forest Park East in Webster, Texas.  Gene Thompson III, Shawn Thompson, Kinkaid McManus, Justin Thompson, Carson McManus and Kaleb Thompson will serve as pallbearers.Local arrangements entrusted to Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home                  To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Mrs. Betty A.
