Obituary Ms. Beatrice Brown, age 92, of Newport, passed away Friday morning, September 9, 2022 at Newport Health & Rehabilitation Center.Ms. Brown was a Christian and attended many area churches when her health permitted.She was preceded in death by parents Oscar and Renia Brown; brothers James Brown, Melvin (Nora) Brown, Columbus Brown and Homer (Verle) Brown; sisters Lucille Brown, Daisy (Lawson) Green and Verniae Mae (Dexter) Strange; several nieces and nephews.Survivors include several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and sister-in-law Mary Brown of Newport.  Additional survivors include her many friends at Newport Health and Rehab, including special friends Mary Messer and Ann Bible.A graveside service will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 at 1:00pm in the Ray's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Matthew Parton officiating.  Family and friends will gather at the cemetery at 12:45pm prior to service..Costner-Maloy & Brown is honored to be entrusted to serve the family of Ms. Beatrice Brown To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Ms. Beatrice Brown, please visit our floral store. div.ptwp-tree { min-width:400px; float: right; } A Memorial Tree was planted for Ms. Beatrice We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Brown Funeral Home Join in honoring their life - plant a memorial treeRead Obituary
