Obituary Miss. Peggy Ann Styles, age 72, of Newport, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 20, 2022 at Newport Convalescent Center.She was a member of Caney Creek Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her mother Ruby Barnes Shults and grandparents Lloyd and Lora Barnes.Survivors include her sisters Janice Styles Owenby (Terry Parker) of Cosby and Gail (Marty) Teague of Newport; brother Jerry (Candy) Brown of Cosby.  Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.The family would like to express a special thank you to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice and to the staff of Newport Convalescent Center for taking such good care of her.The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening, September 25, 2022 at Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Raymond Collins officiating.  The family and friends will meet at 9:45a.m. Monday at Sutton Cemetery for the 10:00 a.m. interment.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Costner-Maloy & Brown prior to the service.Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Costner-Maloy & Brown.    To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Miss.
